The 93rd Academy Awards took place on April 25, 2021 in Los Angeles, at Union Station, which was used for the shooting of several films.
Florian Zeller’s French film «The Father» won two Oscars for Best Actor, and Best Adapted Screenplay. He took the opportunity to thank the film crew, and paid tribute to actor Anthony Hopkins for his lead role in the film. He add : I wrote the script for him. For me, he’s the greatest living actor.
As for actor Anthony Hopkins, he received the award for best actor.
Filmmaker Chloé Zhao wins the 2021 Oscar for Best Director in Hollywood.
