The Tokyo Olympic Games Closing Ceremony took place at Shinjuku Ward National Stadium on August 8, 2021. The President of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach with the Governor of Tokyo, Yuriko Koike presented the flag of the Olympic Games to the Mayor of Paris Madame Anne Hidalgo to mark the start of the next Olympic Games from July 26 to August 11, 2024, and the Paralympic Games from August 28 to September 8.
