The Cannes Festival has become, over the years, the most prestigious and most publicized festival in the world. It brings together renown international stars, competing or invited, thereby gives fashion designers from around the world the opportunity to unveil their latest creations worn by the people who parade on the red carpet and its twenty-four steps of glory at the opening ceremony and during the festival length.
Elegance and simplicity was the theme of the Cannes Festival 2019
In its 72nd edition, the Cannes Film Festival 2019, included an official list of 12 films shot by great international directors, who competed for the Palme d’Or, the most distinguished prize of the festival, was awarded to «Parasite» to the South Korean director, «Bong Joon», considered to be the first South Korean director to win such a distinction.
Another golden sling awarded this year to the French actor «Alain Delon «, a tribute for his long journey full of creativity and distinction. The festival also marked the victory of the two Belgian directors, the Darden Brothers, who won the prize for best director for their film «Ahmed Al-Sagheer».
Spanish actor Antonio Banderas won the best male role award for his role in the film «Pain and Glory» by director Pedro Almodovar, and English actress Emily Pecham won the best actress award at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in the movie «Little Joy».
This 72nd edition saw a great competition between fashion designers, who showed innovation, excellence and even glamour, by choosing designs, colors and particularly original shapes, the festival stars meanwhile, have adopted looks consistent with their personalities and tastes, and some of them have adopted the simple style like the star Sylvester Stallone accompanied by his wife and daughter and the star Antonio Banderas and his companion.
