Athletes from Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games paraded on the Champs-Élysées on Saturday September 14th, 2024 , Volunteers, organizers and partners of the Games also took part in this grand parade.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced a special decorative order to pay tribute to participants in the 2024 Olympic Games. A distinction that will be added to the Legions of Honor and national orders of merit awarded to medal-winning athletes.
Recognition of the commitment and efforts of all those who contributed to the success of the Games is a great initiative.
The French president wants to set up a sports day on September 14th in order to revive sports practice in daily life.
